When I first joined Wealthy Affiliate, I wasn’t really sure what I was getting into.
For those of you unfamiliar, Wealthy Affiliate, which I will refer to from now on as WA, it is an online business community with numerous benefits. Think of it as Twitter/Facebook supercharged for those looking to build an income online.
As you can probably guess from the name, WA focuses on affiliate marketing and provides training for such business.
At first glance I thought it was some get rich quick scheme or possibly some kind of pyramid scam waiting to happen.
Luckily for me I was wrong. Wrong enough that I had to write a review about it.
While I can’t tell you for certain if WA is going to be the miracle you’ve been looking for, I can tell you why it works for me.
Why Wealthy Affiliate Works For Me
There are many reasons that I find WA extremely helpful, here are the main points that I would like to make.
You can start for free.
You can always join and keep your account for $0.00, and there is no pressure to upgrade. I do however advise a premium account, more about that later though.
There are legitimately useful training courses.
The training they provide actually taught me some pretty useful information. It also had me question a few of my methods and put me in the right state of mind to do better.
There are 10 starter courses for free accounts, but the classes continue for Premium accounts there after.
There are other people right there with your same problems.
The WA community is large, there are people going through the same things as you. You have other people right there to talk with and discuss what’s going on.
There are also people there that have beaten what ever issues you’re dealing with and they’re willing to help.
Hosting is included.
They offer to host your all of your websites.
Two free websites are included with the free account, and unlimited with the paid membership.
You also have the option to use your own domain.
I’m paying for it (Wait…That doesn’t make any sense).
First off, yes, you can get a free account, but hear me out.
This is probably against most of your principals. Everyone wants everything for free, but I totally disagree. While we all love free, free doesn’t motivate.
With free I always hear “If it doesn’t work out then at least I didn’t pay for it.”
That’s where you’ve made a major mistake. There shouldn’t be thoughts of whether or not it’s going to work out. The thought should be how to make it work out.
Other Notable Features
They have an awesome affiliate program.
And why wouldn’t they? Premium accounts earn you more money per referral, but they are always for the life of your referrals account.
Premium users are even eligible to earn money for free accounts.
They have great SEO and writing tools.
WA can get you a WordPress site up in 60 seconds. They have keyword and market research tools as well as their own custom writing tool.
Again, the community!
I spoke about the community earlier, but I honestly don’t think that did it justice.
Think of the community as an unlimited resource of motivation and expertise. You can even blog to your followers about your findings and keep up to date what’s going on with those in similar circles as you.
There is also live chat, so if you have an urgent question, others are right there to help.
How Much Does Wealthy Affiliate Cost?
You can opt for the free account if you like. Absolutely no cost ever. The features are limited however.
A premium account is $47.00 per month, but if you go premium in the first seven days your first month is only $19.00.
So Is Wealthy Affiliate Worth It?
In my opinion, absolutely. The premium is worth it as well. A free account is enough to get you started, but if you really want to make a difference in your affiliate marketing efforts a premium account is the way to go.
