These are my Top 5 WordPress Plugins. They aren’t ranked in any order and they may vary for different styles of blogs.
Take into consideration that different blogs require different types of plugins. Maybe you aren’t advertising, or maybe you don’t care about your SEO. It’s all up to the blog owner in the long run, but these plugins have helped make my blogs more successful. I don’t know if that’s saying much, but I must admit that this blog doesn’t do half bad.
With that being said, here are our Top 5 WordPress Plugins.
Dollar Dojo’s Top 5 WordPress Plugins
1) Ad Injection
The Ad Injection plugin makes inserting ads into your WordPress templates extremely easy. You can place them in widgets or straight into your posts and pages.
2) Yoast SEO
WordPress SEO by Yoast comes highly recommended by many blog owners. I don’t use it on Dollar Dojo, but it is in use on one of the other blogs that I’m working on.
YARPP is pretty straight forward. It recommends related posts for your readers at the end of the post they are currently reading. It recommends based on keywords, tags and the like. There are probably other plugins that do this as well or better, but this is my favorite.
W3 Total Cache is great for improving your blog’s overall performance. It helps with load speed and your users’ overall experience.
Crowdfunding is a a platform very much like and probably inspired by KickStarter. For those of you not familiar with KickStarter, it’s a platform that allows you to start a project that others are allowed to chip in on until you reach a target amount of money.
Like I said before, these are just a few of the top plugins that I like and find useful. Your list may be completely different and none of these plugins serve a purpose for you.
