We’ve covered different ways to get paid with your smartphone before, but here’s another we didn’t.
There’s an app that will pay you to simply unlock your phone.
If you’re interested, the app is called Locket.
Sorry iPhone and Blackberry enthusiasts, at current, Locket is only for the Android OS.
Who knows? That might change soon.
Anyhow. Let’s get down to it.
How Does Locket Pay?
Locket pays you a penny when you swipe to unlock your phone.
You swipe to the right, get into your phone as you normally would. Swipe to the left however, and you get fresh content daily.
Once in your phone you can also get paid to download apps, take surveys, or sign up for offers and deals.
There once was a referral program, but paid referrals are now discontinued.
How Much Does Locket Pay?
Locket pays 1 cent for a swipe. Not every swipe though. They use an algorithm to determine how often to pay you for a swipe to discourage people from trying to “game” the program.
Minimum cash out is $10.00 through Paypal.
