Selling things on eBay is a very common way to make money online. Everyday people are cleaning out closets and garages and finding things to sell online. Others are opening their own storefronts for items that get from drop shipping or wholesale. Great for them! What about those of us that don’t have the resources to do this? Can we profit from eBay too? The answer is yes!
The question however is probably, “How?” Referring sales is how. Even the best eBay sellers need referrals and eBay knows this. That is why they opened the eBay Affiliate Partner Network. The eBay APN allows you to earn money through a cost per click model. There is however a CPA model, but this requires you to submit a loyalty or cash back business model.
What Do I Need To Start?
Well to begin you’re going to need to set up a website. I strongly advise starting a blog for this as it is what I believe to be the simplest method. Also as a bonus you can use the blog to earn revenue through other methods. If you already have a website or blog then all you need is to register. You’re also going to need either a PayPal or bank account to get paid and a working phone number.
How Do I Make Money?
The eBay APN provides you with text links, banner ads, and widgets to promote products related to your website. The clicks are paid based on what they call Quality Click Pricing or QCP. QCP is how eBay determines what your earnings per click or EPC is. It is raised or lowered based on the quality of your traffic. The better your traffic converts to sales and registered users, the more you make per click.
How Much Can I Make?
This is totally up to how well you promote the products. Your EPC can be as low as 0 if you aren’t sending any qualifying sales. The program boasts hundreds of publishers making more than $0.40 per click. You can earn even more if you sell your own eBay products through this program. It’s totally acceptable.
