Let’s Get Paid To Design Shirts!
Calling all fashion designers and the like, you can get paid to design shirts for other companies.
If the thought of designing clothes is appealing to you, this might be your lucky day.
Typically, if you want to be a clothing designer you have to worry about overhead expenses. Not anymore. You can let your creativity flow and let other companies worry about the business end.
While you may want to go into business for yourself one day and take off to be the next big thing, this isn’t a bad place to start.
How Does This Work?
Well it’s generally pretty straight forward. You design the shirt and you get a cut of the profits.
There are some variations depending on who you go through, but basically you design the shirt, they sell the shirt, and you get paid.
What Do You Need To Begin?
Any sort of graphic editing software will probably suffice. If you already have a preference go with that.
You might also want to consider using some sort of royalty free graphics or clip art to spice up your designs.
I use personally use GraphicStock. The subscription costs, but it is more than worth it. You can get 83% off if you sign up with this link.
So Who’s Going To Pay You?
I personally recommend SpreadShirt. They offer two options. You can either open your own personal store, or sell to their customer base. Either way they pay a commission on sales you generate. They also allow you to sell your designs on more than just shirts. Things like accessories, cell phone cases, and cups are also available for design. You can also set your own commission of up to $20.00.
There’s also another site called 6DollarShirts that pays a bit differently. Instead of paying for every sale, they offer a contest with a reward of $400 cash as well as $100 store credit. Winners are picked weekly.
