Let’s face it, more than likely if you’re visiting this website you are probably here to learn to make some extra money online. So I figured it would be a good idea to give you all a few things that I have learned in my journey for online wealth. Some of these things you might like to hear, some you might not, but hear me out and you will learn some things now that takes others weeks, months, or even years of trial and error to learn.
1.) Making Money Online Is Not Easy
This is something I feel is absolutely necessary to tell you. If making money online was easy you probably wouldn’t be reading this. Yes, you can get paid to do a few relatively easy tasks. Some of which are listed on this website even, but simply taking surveys or clicking ads will not replace your day job. Making enough money online to comfortably tell your boss goodbye takes a little more time and effort than that. You will have to experiment and do things that work for you personally. There is no one get rich quick system that works for everyone.
2.) Everything You Read Online Is Not True
Actually there’s a better chance that the last thing you read online was a lie. Anyone can sit behind a keyboard and sell dreams. Just make sure you aren’t the one to buy them. There will be pictures and claims and all kinds of statistics, testimonies, and guys showing off fancy sports cars that they got from this amazing system. Let’s be honest, if they had this amazing system, why would they need to sell it? They shouldn’t need any more money if that system works so well right?
3.) If At First You Don’t Succeed
I know what you’re thinking, you’re probably tired of hearing this, but it does hold true here as well. Few people amass an online wealth on their first try and I’m afraid the chances are against you my friend. If you do, congratulations you’ve just proved me wrong. For the rest of us unlucky souls, try and try again. The best thing you can do is press on, it may be discouraging, but giving up is the first and last step in succeeding to fail.
4.) SEO Is Key
For those of you unversed in common webmaster/blogger acronyms, SEO stands for search engine optimization. SEO is the method that webmasters and bloggers use to improve the visibility of their websites to search engines. Why is this important? Think about the last time you needed something, nine times out of ten you searched for it. Be it Google, Yahoo, Bing, or some other engine, they all work relatively similar. They look for key things in your website to include it in search results. There are many different SEO techniques, mix and match until you find what suites you.
5.) Social Media Is Gold
Do not neglect social media, take advantage of it. When we think of social media, first things that come to mind are probably Twitter or Facebook. These are great tools to promote your website or business that don’t cost you a thing. Build your friends and followers and share information and deals. While Twitter and Facebook are great, don’t forget about bookmarking sites like Stumbleupon, Digg, and Reddit. These are great at finding visitors that are already interested in what you have to sell or share.
