Google AdSense has to be one of highest paying ad networks for publishers. While this is true, it is also the easiest network to get banned from. I’m sure you’ve read countless stories on how Google has banned someone for “no reason.” If you’re reading this you might be in the same category, or maybe you know why you were banned. Some of you might just be looking for another ad network to compliment the AdSense ads you already show. Either way here are some AdSense alternatives help you in your mission.
The main reason why I first recommend Clicksor is that as I said before, most people looking for an alternative to AdSense have had their account banned or suspended. Clicksor is pretty lenient on the websites they allow. The even allow content suitable for adults only. They also have a wide variety of Ad Formats:
- Inline Text Links
- Text Banners
- Graphical Banners
- Interstitial Ads
Chitika is another great alternative or addition to AdSense. They also only require you to accept their terms and conditions. They have a very small $10.00 minimum payout, while Google’s is $100.00. They provide the following Ad Formats:
- Text Ads
- List Units
- Mobile Ads
They also have ChitikaApps which is currently in the Beta phase at the time of this posting. ChitikaApps include Chitika Linx, which are inline text ads. Chitika Hover, which hovers an ad at the bottom right of the page that stays in position even as the user scrolls. Lastly, Chitika Highlight, which servers an ad whenever a user highlights text to copy and paste.
Lijit is a network that I hadn’t heard about until recently, but they seem to provide a decent service and I plan to try them out on one of my sites shortly. They provide:
- Display ads
- Video ads
- Inline text ads
- In-image ads
- Mobile ads
I recommend Lukads for very good reason. They are sharing 95% of the profit with their publishers. Adsense at the time of this posting shares only 68%. Good bang for your blog if you ask me. They currently offer CPM and CPC banner ads.
eClickz is another network with a high payout percentage. They are currently paying 90% of the profit with publishers. They offer a few different services from other ad networks. They currently provide:
- Domain Parking Ads
- Custom Paid Search Engine
- Paid XML Feeds
- PPC Text Ads
